Jaime studied his Bachelor Degree in Universidad de Sevilla, finishing it in 2014. During his Degree in Law, he developed the University Practicum Program as trainee Lawyer in Montero & Aramburu, where he developed his skills in private law. In 2015 he finished a Master’s in tax law and taxation at Universidad Loyola Andalucía.
Straight away he started working as a tax and legal tax trainee in Basa & Mora Figueroa Asociados where he specialized in the Tax law, advising on financial services and international or Spanish taxation issues related to domestic and international transactions, particularly for individuals, companies and financial institutions. After that he worked as Tax Lawyer in Mora Jordano Abogados in Málaga covering the entire tax spectrum; Direct and Indirect Taxation.
Jaime worked for EY (Ernst & Young) in Madrid, in the Private Client Service department, working on the tax advising for naturals and legal persons high net wealth, non resident transactions, advice on tax planning, Direct and Indirect Taxation and Corporate Tax Consolidation, among other matters.
He is currently working in Triay Spain's Tax Law Team where he is specialized in Advice and tax planning for natural and legal persons, especially in direct taxation (personal income tax, Non-Resident Taxation and Corporation Tax), Writings of various kinds in the field of tax management and recurring tax advice to companies and individuals, Reports on tax implications of various kinds (indirect taxation, tax procedure, taxation of non-residents, alternatives for tax optimization among others), Assistance in tax collection procedures (negotiation of term extensions and tax division), apeals before the Tax Administration and the Autonomous and Central Economic Administrative Court, Recurring tax advice (especially on the tax impact in Spain for Economic Activities developed by Non-Resident Companies and Individuals established and not established in the EU).
