Mauricio is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Private Client teams and Head of Family Law at Triay Spain.
Mauricio qualified as a solicitor when he obtained a Degree in Law at the University of Navarra in 2009. During his time there, Mauricio worked at the International Private Law Department at the same university.
He also took a Master Degree on Civil & Criminal Law Practice at the University of Navarra in 2011 and in 2016 a Master Degree on Banking Law at the Andalucian International University (UNIA).
Mauricio is well-versed in dealing with the most demanding of clients, often in both complex and challenging situations, having represented individuals and companies from a range of backgrounds over the last 12 years.
He practises in all areas of family law including divorce and separation, financial settlements and co-habitation. He also advises in disputes concerning children (visitation, custody, child support).
Much of Mauricio’s work has an international aspect and he regularly advises clients living abroad, with overseas assets or where the case involves the cross-border movement of children. He usually assists with prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

Mauricio has extensive experience in Civil Litigation Law and Real State Law.
He is a member of the Spanish Association of Family Lawyers (AEAFA) and the Málaga Bar Association.
Mauricio speaks English fluently.
